Answer: Claudio falls in love with Hero because he feels very strongly towards Hero. He feels that they were always meant to be together. Claudio finds Hero's beauty one of a kind and feels that she is the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on. I know this by the way that he speaks to her throughout the play and the way he speaks about her towards others. He is very passionate when talking about Hero and speaks from his heart. There is no question in my mind that Claudio is in love with Hero.
